Delicate embroidery follows the patterns made by simple lacework in this summery knitted blouse. Tailored I-cord trim along the neckline and sleeve edgings provide a neat finish. The body is worked in one piece to the armholes for easy knitting; then the front and back are worked separately back and forth. The set-in cap sleeves knit up quickly. Its worked in comfy mercerized cotton; make it in the colors shown or try it in spicey red with mexicali colors for the embroidery.

Yarn: Garnstudio Safran (100% cotton; 174 yd [159 m]/50 g): #18 ecru (off-white, MC), 4 (5, 5, 6, 6, 7) balls; #31 lime, #13 pink, #30 turquoise, 1 ball each for embroidery. Yarn distributed by Aurora Yarns
